IT Recruiter
Job Overview:
As an IT Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top IT talent for our organization. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to onboarding, and will collaborate closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure the acquisition of qualified candidates who meet the company’s technical requirements. This role offers a competitive salary , supplemented by a commission structure based on successful placements.
Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals to source potential IT candidates.
- Review and analyze resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and assess candidates’ technical skills and qualifications.
- Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities.
Job Requisition and Strategy:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand IT staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Create job descriptions and post them on appropriate job boards and platforms.
- Recommend and implement innovative recruitment methods to attract highly skilled IT professionals.
Interviewing and Selection:
- Conduct thorough interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical expertise, cultural fit, and career aspirations.
- Coordinate technical assessments, coding challenges, or other relevant evaluation methods.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the interview process.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration to understand changing recruitment needs and priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights and guidance on recruitment best practices.
Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:
- Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate compensation packages in line with company guidelines.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process, coordinating with HR and relevant departments to ensure a seamless transition.
Reporting and Metrics:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities using applicant tracking systems or other designated tools.
- Generate regular reports on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate conversion rates.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT recruiter or in a similar technical recruitment role.
- Strong understanding of IT job market trends, technologies, and technical skill sets.
- Familiarity with various sourcing strategies and tools to attract passive and active candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders.
- Ability to assess candidates’ technical skills and qualifications accurately.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting recruitment targets and goals.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and hiring best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Note: The salary range specified is subject to negotiation based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The commission structure will be discussed and agreed upon during the final stages of the hiring process.
